Default help please guys! e46 rear pads

ok I know its not a fiver but my friend Mic has a 3 series e46. he is trying to do the rear pads but said they were so tight he couldnt get them on. They were stealer supplied and are the correct pads apparently. any qualified advice or tips would be helpful as he's having another go this weekend and needs to get them on.

    many thanks in advance

theres a couple choices for rear brakes on the e46s depending on year and package, id double check that he has the correct pads for those rotors/calipers

I think you will find that there are 2 hex bolts that need to be undone.
