Default is there anything bad about pennzoil synthetic?

anyone have any experience with it? Its time to change oil in my 540i soon and just curious if i should stick with what the PO has been using which was pennzoil 10w-40 synthetic and use the 5w-40 "euro" oil they make or switch to Mobil 1 0w-40.

I've used it - no problem as far as I can see. The more important thing is to mind your change intervals, no matter which brand you use.

Pennzoil Platinum "synthetic" has pretty good used oil reports even with extended drain intervals. as long as its used without oil additives.
