the gear may be worn out.
I tried searching, but couldn't find any answers. My rear wiper goes up about 5-8 inches and then stops, sometimes it comes back down. The pin appears to be staying in the hole. Think I just need a new rear wiper motor? Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff

Vee ave vays of dealing vid your kind...........
Well the motor is working, but seems like it must be weak. The wiper arm only rotates about 10 degrees, but when you pull the wiper away from the glass it goes its full span. So it looks like the resistance caused by the wiper against the glass is too much for the motor. Do these motors go often? Would a used one be a good replacement or should I just get a new one?
Thanks,
Jeff
