    Default Jump Start

    About to go jump start! What is the best ground (negative) location on the 540i with all that plastic around the engine? Thanks

    You've probably already done it but if the 8 cyl has an engine lift hook in the front like a 525i then use that.

    ditto on the engine lift mount if there is one on the V8

    i use the metal piece the back of the hood drops onto, very easy to get it on there and right next to the b+!
