OT: E32 750 Highline for less than 3.000 $

That is a wonderful car with only 76.000 km. One of the last E32 Highline built (1993/94 model).
Present price is Yen 280.000 which is roughly US $ 2.700.
No offer so far and the auction ends today, Jan. 31, at 21.`6 H local time = is 10 hours from now.
There was one sold to Canada last year which had only 22 k km, and it fetched CND $ 19.500.
In Germany that car would be easily sellable for > 5.000 EURO with that low mileage and that condition.

This just seems such a bargain to me here in the U.S.
$2700 buys a very ragged and older E32 here.Why so cheap in Japan Eric?

I made one mistake. $ 2.700 was the starting price and that was not the minimum price or what you call it.
Anyway, not a single offer was made for such a nice car. In USA the Highline was never sold, in total less than 5.000 were sold worldwide!

In Germany that car would have fetched easily 6-8 k $ with such a low mileage, in Canada last year a 750iL Highline from Japan with only 22 k km was sold for 19.500 Canadian $.
Old cars are difficult to sell here. Old = more than 7 or 8 years old.
That is why most of them go to other countries, the good/better ones to Canada, AUS, Europe, maybe NZ, Russia, and former Eastern Europe and the lesser good ones to the middle East, and very good ones to the rich middle east countries like UAE.
I know some other 750 E32 of similar quality here, standing in the showrooms since months.

Too bad such a hassle to register them here. If not I may have a collection to rival yours.
Most of them left here are junk, especially 750s.
I have given up on ever finding one in nice shape.

I did not read that site to closely but google says 98 000 Japanese yen = 804.267542 U.S. dollars so its $804 to get that car over here? (obviously plus the cost of the car)
