Enjoy your new ride :-)
Picked this up this morning. 00 323iT, 5spd, sport pkg, 110k. Bought it sight unseen from an ebay wholesaler. Only prob found thus far is the window washers pump is washing the ground, not the windows.
Sorry for the grainy pics, it was dusk.
Also, shameless plug my 540i/6 is for sale, see the classified section. I'm also selling the winter tire package. I'm going to be getting another E34, but can't afford both right now.
Enjoy your new ride :-)
1992 525i Touring M50 5spd Manual 230k+ miles - SOLD:-(
nice car, the only thing i don't like about those are the head lights, is there any way you can store the 540 rather than sell it?
No I can't afford to keep the 540, as much as I'd love to have both. I am going to look for a project E34. Hopefully a 535/5 or maybe a touring with a blown tranny.
thats a shame, i like the 540's, enjoy your new car though
Nice car, like the wheels.
Whats all the white stuff on the ground?

Gorgeous car. E46 sport pack is an amazing vehicle. Is that a colorado red VW passat in the background?

why buy that when u have the 540?
Mostly for practical reasons. I have a thing for wagons and this one drives like a dream. I went through the records and turns out this is a 1 owner. The maintenance booklet has all the oil and inspection stamps from the same PA dealer. Brake and coolant flushes also recorded. The E46 is becoming a real bargain as prices are dropping like a rock. I paid just over $9k for this and it's a beauty.
I'm still dreaming of a project E34 touring that will get a 5 speed and a S52. But the reality of planning a wedding, needing to build a garage over the summer and some other house projects right now means that is not possible.
Fantastic car. Good choice.
Dare I say that I like it better than the 540?
