    Default BMW tow bars

My 540 saloon, sadly, isn't fitted which such an item. Can I retro fit a genuine BMW part no problems ? I've seen cheaper bars on ebay, but I like the idea of the removable part and the flap in the bumper to hide all the gubbins.

No problem, the dealer can sell it to you. But ask for the price ;-)

's about $500 from a westphalia dealership in the UK. Dunno what the shipping as I am having it installed on elekta before it's shipped over here. Comes with removable tow bar and wiring harness. That 303# is the PN

    headlight adjuster and rear fogs

    good luck

Thanks all. Looking at the online ETK, looks like Westfalia was an O/E supplier to BMW for this part and also one of those listed on UK eBay.

    Cheers
