    Default Bavarian trivia thread re e31, e32 & e34...

If you have some interesting BMW trivia, feel free to post it in this thread.

    eg.
    1. Why does this work like this, or
    2. that fit something else in such a strange way,
    3. or why did this guy do this...

Anything trivial, somehow related to BMW is acceptable fodder.

Default What is it that is so damn good about the e31, e32 and e34?

    To start:

    Q. What is it that is so damn good about the e31, e32 and e34?
    i.e. 518i-540 & M5, 728-750iL and 830i-850ci?

    A. Apart form the obvious, I came up with a good one yesterday- 2 rear doors fit neatly in the trunk- and it closes perfectly!

And on second thoughts, will an e32 7 series take a pair of i or maybe even iL doors in the same way?

LOL... or for dragging good parts back home from the tip!

Can't think of anything right now other than the obvious, why does the hood open the way it does. And I don't have the answer, but I know it's cool.

Might have some trouble fitting the rear doors off this one in the trunk!
