    Default Front drivers door locked

The car doors locked when I went to the supermarket today and when I came back I could open all but the drivers door. Crawled through from the passengers side and tried to manually unlock the door would not work. Scrambled behind the steering wheel & drove home.
Can you help? This is our only car & we are due out tonight

I can only tell you how I did it on the E32, and I assume it will also work on the E34.
Open the rear door wide on drivers side. Use a flashlight and you will see in the front door that plastic plug. Here a link how to change the door handles, that makes it more clear. Do eaxtly the same, push the lever inside forward and then you can remove the outer door handle, underneath there 2 2 bolts for the door lock, if you remove them you might be able to use a screwdriver to open the door on the mechanism inside
