    Default X-MAS GIFT 540I 6 Spd

    Hello All,

Look at what Ms. Clause is hooking me up with. It's a 95 540i 6 Spd. Although, she's charging me $8500, and I figured it's a decent price. Here are some pictures. What do you think? I'll more than likely sell the rims soon.

    Thanks,

    T

Nice.. How many miles? And yes, the ShadowLine looks good.. Price seems decent, I paid a little less about 6 months ago with 103K miles..
Rims aren't too bad.. What are they, 18" BBS RK's?

The car has ~129k Miles. The rims are 17s BBS and I am not sure of the style. What do you guys mean by "shadow lines". Is it possible to fit '20 rims on these E-34s?

Rocky, you would need to have 'rocks-in-yer-head' (pun intended) to fit 20" rims on an E34... even 19"s are too big.

18"s are realistically as big as you should go.

    20" rims will...

    1. Destroy any ride comfort
    2. Destroy your front end components faster (due to increased unsprung weight and lack of sidewall cushioning)
    3. Destroy themselves everytime you hit a pothole
    4. Reduce your acceleration (due to increased mass)
    5. Increase your braking distance (due to increased mass)
    6. And cost you a fortune in accelerated tyre wear (20" tyres are expensive!)

    Okay, I'm done now!

Is Ms. Claus related to you? I want to be put on the gift list. Talk of 20s will get you excommunicated here.

You were doing good up to the point asking about 20s Unfortunately we here do not condone the use of anything over 19, really. 20 is stretching it.

LOL...The rims I like happen to be '20s. If the company ever returns my e-mail/call I can ask if he has 19s. Although the website only advertises 20 & 22s in this particular model.

I would really prefer to get these...but I have no idea where to go to get them. I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE These were 17s!
