Do you have a check control module in your fuse box and an LKM?
Which LKM? LKM-L or LKM-B? It is written on the back of the LKM.
My car is sept. 1992. 520i M50, as I read on this forum, many people has problems with warnings like "low washer fluid". " license plate bulb", or so...
My car never gives any warning, I had bulbs not working, low washer fluid, and many other things, but still car doesn't inform me about anything.
The only things that work are bulbs in dash. When brakes are at the end - light goes on, etc...
Maybe it's beacause I don't have full board comp or what?

There are two kinds of instrument cluster, one with an alphanumeric display panel and one without. I believe the display panel -- which shows the warnings -- was standard on the 525i on up, but optional on the 518i and 520i. This is independent of whether you have the On Board Computer or not.Originally Posted by baksa
