Pure glycerin to protect door seals?
Has anyone tried using pure glycerin to treat door seals? Zymol Seal (and I suspect others) have glycerin as one of their primary ingredients. I tried it on a section of a soft inner door seal on my BMW. It seemed to absorb into the seal a lot like the old style BMW Gummi pfledge. Felt like a dog's wet nose!
It is available in many drug stores such as CVS and Walgreens in small 4 fluid ounce bottles.
Anyway, any thoughts? Could it damage seals? TIA
Thanks,
