    i know they are fropm an E38 but will I need rings and spacers?

    No rings, no spacers. Should mount right up just fine. Make sure you get tires to fit the E34's smaller wheel wells though. 7 series fitment are too big.

    You only need 245/40 R 18 for fronts and 285/35 R 18 for rear! They are not staggered only parallels for E39 where staggered (they are 8 wide fronts and 9 rears).

    The M pars. on the E38 were 18 x 8 and 18 x 9.5. On the E39 they were
    18 x 8 and 18 x 9. You can use the same size tires, they will still be staggerd. If you look at the picture, the lip is wider on the rear wheels than the fronts.
