What possible reason would someone turn to San Diego for advice on snow tires?

e34/e39 wheels fit on an e36, so why wouldn't it work the other way?

PS- it takes some work to get them to fit.

Coincidentally there are E36 wheels for sale locally that I have interest in.
So as not to be subject of the next thread of this ilk would someone please explain if and how E36 wheels may fit the E34?

It usually requires something like 20mm-to-an-inch of hub-centric spacer and longer lug bolts. The only thing that "fits" is the bolt circle and the hub center. Why bother? It makes only slightly more sense than putting E34 wheels on an E36...which is really stupid!
