e34 et = 20mm. e36 is up around 38. hence you need 15 to 20mm spacers to make it work.
that being said i've seen some style 5's on e36's with stretched tires and they're hawt
when i tried to put e36 wheels on my e34 the inside of the tire would rub up against the shock. I had to get some eibach spacers.
