id rather have a separate controller and not be chained to their proprietary performance chip, $300 is hard to ignore but id need a bit more useful info about the unit, then theres that $500 controller, that and the $300 maf and you are back in split second range or twice what a real nice megasquirt set up would run with all of the trimmings

The PSC-001 lists for $265 last time I looked at it, and it's programmable out of the box, you just need a wideband O2.
