Bad 02 setting off knock sensor codes?

I had a bad 02 sensor code and bad knock sensors 2 and 4. Recently, the only code i can get is the o2 sensor code. Could my knock sensors be ok once I replace the o2 sensor? I bought the knock sensors and the o2 but if i dont have to take the engine apart I wont.

well, if your O2 sensor ran lean, it could raise temps enough causing knock, which i suspect would throw a knock sensor code.

at which point the computer would back down the timing like it should, the knock sensors are constantly in play with the running they are not a occasional use part, it may not be hammering on them as hard now but they are probably still going bad
