    Default 16's or 17's

I currently run style 32's which we all know what they look like. Im thinking of going to a smaller 16 inch tire since I run long road trips alot, with the car lowered, it picks up ever litle imperfection in the road and gets annoying on a long ride. Im hoping a set of 16's with a little more meat will enhance the ride and even better the handling, while sacrificing looks. Any opinions?

it will enhance your ride. A buddy of mine had 17's on his Audi A3 and due to the harsh ride, decided to go to 16's.

Totall different car, but it's really dependant on what you really want.

I have 17's, and their huge. Rears are 275's. It makes for a bit of a rough ride, and pulls me around a lot on the highway. But only drive about 13,000 KM's per year so no worries for me.

    post some pics of them.

Difference between 15 and 16 is not very noticible. I'll go for 17".

There are fewer and fewer performance tires in 16" for the profiles you'd want to put on an e34. Everytime I need new tires on my 16's, I sacrifice "sticktion". I should have gone with 17". I did notice a significant improvement in performance going from 15" to 16".

I am putting my 15's on this weekend. I can't wait to have the nicer ride.

I put a muffler on, and now 15" wheels, ahhh normal!

Jon, dou you have the "bottlecap" 15's? Im thinking of going with a set of 16's from a 98 540i thats there at the dealership, its a non sport package. I hate to sacrifice the looks tho, oh well.
