    Default E36 engine removal question

    I am pulling a 328ia engine out of an E36.

    Is it better to pull it from the bottom or from the top.
    If from the top, what anchor do you use for the rear? I didn't see any.

    Big thanks, the Bentley doesn't say anything about it.

    Should have read the TIS prior to try to tackle my tranmission seal on the 535i... If you don't have the right tools, don't even try it.... What a pain.

    Mine is still in place, car will go to the garage for the 2nd time in 3 years.
