Default My new Style 5's and other mods

I bought my 530i about 2 months ago with two bad head gaskets as some of you know. I was bad and started modding it before I even got it running!

Reiger lip and yellow laminex fogs

    Style 5 wheels

Front and rear Racing Dynamic sway bars

I also took off the ugly pin stripe.

In the works are some type of coilovers, M5 steering wheel, euro trim, shadowline, and tint. No I will not be getting clears, I think the ambers look great with Calypso. I will probably take off the laminex though, too many colors. I will also be dropping in a 4.0L V8 this winter .

This is where I need help. I'm not sure if I want to get M5 side skirts and paint the lowers, leave them black, or just paint the lowers as is. What do you think?

Shot from when I bought her

I also forgot to mention that my frend was just in London and picked me up a set of smoked and a set of clear smiley headlights, so I'm debating on which of those to use too.

this rieger lip looks exact as the IS LIPPE for e30.

nice car, the only thing i dislike are yellow fogs, normal white/clear are better imho.

I would leave them black, I think it makes the car look sleeker.

Great job so far! Whatever you do it will likely look great.

    Have you considered getting clears?

    Anyway.

Yellow fogs are great. I have 6000k HIDs with yellow fogs. The contrast is wonderful... cept it makes you look more like a Lexus.

upgrade the front brakes, replace ALL the power steering hoses while the engine is out, and wrap the new hoses in exhaust wrap.

black M5 sides (or RD sides) would look hot

    deck lid spoiler.

drop the yellow laminex fogs for clear, throw 3000K HID in there.

if he got 2 'sets'... you could take em apart and do the high beams smoked and the lows clear.

do yourself a favor and rebuild the oil pans and timing case of the new motor with new gaskets and bolts, unless its getting a full rebuild before you get it.

Here is mine with style 5's and clears. It's a 95 so it already has the body color side moulding.
