    Default Radio Codes

I need help. I do not know what I doing wrong. I key the five digit code on the radio, but I can't make it work. The guy that I bought the car from gave me this code, but I do not know if the code is wrong, or I am entering wrong.
Can someone give some help on how to enter the code.
    Thank you.

Make sure the radio is 'waiting' for the first number..(enter numbers until it beeps WRONG then it's ready for the beginning of the code)...then enter the code. If you've entered it incorrectly a few times it will lock out. Leave the radio & key on for 1 or 2 hours (I forget) and try entering the code again.

Search, there's tons of info on this

I edited my post if it makes sense....I just know that was the problem I had along with the wrong length code at first lol

Once I got the correct code & let the radio sit turned on for an hour or two it took the code right in

look in your manual, theres a specific way it wants you to enter it, if you do it wrong you have to wait an hour with the key on for an hour to re enter.
