Cat's are in -- at least long enuf to pass smog
Passed smog with flying colors, as it should.
Not bad for a 14-year-old car with 175k miles, eh? Good for another 2 years.
Cat's suck, they really choked the life out of the top end so may have to go back to straight pipes againAt least it shouldn't be as dirty as the '60's VW buses or Volvo station wagons the greenies drive.

Friday afternoon posts tend to disappear into oblivion pretty quick anymore.
How's the "new" e31? Taken it out yet? Boy, I'm envious. I'm still waiting for a 6-spd to show up within budget & driving distance from home.

How is the exhaust setup so you can replace the cat with straight pipes? Is it clamped on? Can you give us a pic Don?
