IHKA compatibility issues...

Concerning the IHKA modules, I found this one on E-Bay :

Vines auto are O.K., I've bought from them before. My question is :

Is this the right part for a 95 525i? I can't seem to match the part number on realOEM.com

Is this plug and play? I've read somewhere about coding the unit... Is this something I should worry about?

I didn't see a part number in that auction listing. They say it fits your car- but maybe ask the seller to confirm, and make sure they will refund your $$ or provide a replacement if it does NOT fit or does NOT work properly.

I've never heard about coding an IHKA

Thanks Bret... It's just that the part number they give out in another auction, they have three IHKA, doesn't seem to compute on realOEM.com. I put the wrong link on... sorry...

The number i have here is 64.11-8390122.4
It comes from a TDS Diesel.So it seems that there are different numbers.
The airco was a manual.

I think there is more than just the IHKA module thats different.The system is not that great IMHO
and i am not just saying that...i have it
