Default $2100 AUD + postage for 525i manual + all parts required for conversion...

Just wondering if you guys think $2100 AUD + postage (from Australia) for a manual gearbox with tailshaft and flywheel plus all the other stuff required for a conversion from auto to manual is a good price?

    you have an M20?
no actually sounds pretty average, i've seen an m50 with auto gearbox for sale for 2500 up here with only 50 000km on it. and m20 is much more common. surely you would be able to use a gearbox out of an e30 and buy the tailshaft out of the e34. who is this price from?

Germans: Why can't they make everything?

local bmw mechanic, sourcing his parts from melbourne somewhere. This includes the whole lot though, pedal box, gear boot and everything like that...

postage would be around $200 i think
