    Default Quick decision on pads

Noticed a growl when I braked hard this morning, inspected the rotor and I appears that I need a brake job.

Outboard pad wore down before the in board, so no sensor warning.

I am picking up Balos rotors for $75 each

But the big decision is Pagid or Raybestos QS cermaics?

Pagid unless your wheels are really hard to clean.

OpParts rotors are like 20 bux each at bma...

I like the QS, good grip, no noise, no dust.

I have heard great things about Akebonos--I will be getting some of those shortly to replace my old ass crap squeaking stock fronts. They are also ceramic and supposedly give off very little dust...

Sounds good until I get to the shipping to Hawaii part. (no free shipping for me!)

Default To me its a no brainer, either akebono ceramics from tire rack in your

case or raybestos ceramics. I like it when customers don't complain.

I use original pads from the stealer - I find them fantastic but I don't know which brand they are.
