Help Regulator Removal

I have a 93' 525I w/130k miles on it.

I'm trying to remove the pasenger side regulator for the window. As you know on some models it's pop riveted in and they must be drilled out.

I can drill out the center but then when I get thru the rivet starts to spin. I can drill all the way thru but they don't pop out. I have tried a center punch to punch them out but does not work.

The only thing I can think of next is a bigger drill bit. but as I said the rivet now spins and I don't want to chew up the regulator. Anyone know any trick or better procedure to get these rivets out?

lol, that sucks when they spin. i either mess with it for a while or get a die grinder and cut the front of the rivet off. you might have "caught" the rivet with the drill bit.
