Default Reassigned to Korea... have to sell a car...

... and my wife and I have decided to sell the 2002 Volvo S60 that we've had for three years, while she keeps on driving the '95 525i we bought 6 months ago. It took less time than that for us to realize that despite being almost a decade older, it's still a far more enjoyable car to drive! Now we're talking about picking up another E34 after my year in Korea is up (and I'll be pushing for a 540i with a manual transmission)!

Just thought everyone would like to know that two more people have been won over by the charms of this fantastic car!

Good luck finding one, they probably use all the 540s to run plutonium over the border from North Korea...

    Are you going to Soeul?

The girls there are hot. Insanely hot. But you're married, so just ignore them.

I'm probably going to Camp Humphreys (which I believe is close to Soeul), but I won't find out for sure until I'm there. I'll be looking for a $200 hoopdy-type Korean car to get me through my year there- the 540 would be our second car when I get back. I agree- any E34s over there are probably in the hands of a select few, and are used for shady business!

I've heard about the women over there- and seen a LOT of buddies come back with Korean brides! BUT... like was mentioned... for the sake of my marriage, I'll have to lock myself in my room and play guitar for entertainment- partying with the local girls might be dangerous for a married guy!

What kind of Kim Jong Il memorabelia should I look for to bring back for everyone!?

Testicles would be good too. BTW, if you have never been there before, make sure you save lots of money to buy sneakers with.

Sneakers? Really! Hmmmm... do explain! I was already starting to save for buying my wife "fake" Coach bags (the ones made by the same workers and on the same machinery that made the bags for Coach when they used to own the factory there)!

Last car I had was a Huyndai, and I learned an important lesson. If you want someone to make you a pair of sneakers, go talk to the Koreans. If you want someone to build a car for you, or invade a neighboring country, the Germans have it all wrapped up.
