    Default RAD surgery ;-)

My 1 and half year radiator got punctured - only slightly.
The dealer claims that it can't be repaired and wants €400 to replace it.
Does anyone know if our radiators can be repaired using some over the counter product? Can they be soldered?
Any insight/experience/solution would be much appreciated.

I should elaborate... the bolt securing the belt tensioner snapped. I'm not sure in what order the following happened but... the belt jumped, the water-pump bearings screwed up and 2+ blades of the fan snapped off. A part of a broken blade nicked my radiator - so it's only leaking from one side.

I was going to say it is to replace the radiator for 400 euros. You having many more parts done so it is not that bad it appears.
