if you do Rob I beleive its very important to get it checked by a Benz Specialist.My mate bought one that looked so good he couldnt resist,even tho his indy said to him never never never buy one without letting me check it for you first.
The gearbox cost him thou$ands....

i love the looks and interior ergonomics of the 126 body benzes but despise working on them, all of the vacuum **** that dies, bosch K-jetronic, back pain inducing seats, ac evaporator job from hell, the feeling of dragging the door handles on the ground during turns. theres a reason i got rid of my 126, i didn't want it around when it fell apart (87 300sdl sold with a little over 100k miles and the hvac vacuum **** had allready started but the locks were still cool)

i'd probably rather buy a porsche 944 or 928S for that kind of money
