Do you have a sunroof? If so check that it’s properly sealing. Being off a bit creates a whooshing noise at speed. Otherwise are all the window and door moldings in proper shape? No rips or tears?Originally Posted by brick8
Since I purchased my 1992 touring in November, I have been puzzled by one thing. When I am driving the car it sounds like the hatch or a rear window is open, but when I check all are properly closed. Does anyone else notice this? I have replaced the rubber gasket that goes around the rear hatch opening but I still hear the noise. Nothing major, but if possible, I would like to find a solution.

I think the sunroof is ok. Went through a carwash this week (foolish considering the temp here) and no leaks. One of the door window moldings is slightly torn. I ordered a replacement from dealer using the part # from realoem but it is the wrong part. Will keep you all posted.

The 95 Touring we just bought has quite abit of wind noise because the inside door seals have shrunk and left gaps at the rear upper corner of each door opening. I bought a new one for the drivers door & will use pieces of the old one I remove to fix the others. Sectioned in under the sill cover the repair should be unnoticible.
