boot/trunk water leak?

howdy all,

done a few searches but i'm stumped!

i get water in the boot/trunk when after heavy rain

i tried running water down the sunroof drains and all the water appears to flow straight out of the rear drain holes near the back wheels (car pointing uphill)

the bootlid seal seem ok

i can't seem to isolate where it's getting in

anyone had the same peoblem and actually found a cure

Might be the taillight gaskets. Had that happen on both my old E30s.

thanks for the reply,

one of them did have some water in so have remounted it after beefing up the seal a little but i don't think it was the main culprit

any other suggestions guys

No problem. How much water is coming in? If you had water in the taillight that might have been the problem.
