    Default deadlocked car...flat battery...can't unlock doors...help

    I deadlocked my car and battery went flat over night, the emergency unlock won't won't work, is this because its deadlocked? battery is under my back seat...

    the battery must be on its last legs,you left the lights on or there is a current draw.

    left the interior light on, the battery was stuffed, i managed to unlock it using the emergeny unlock technique ( i wasn't turning hard enough the first few times i tried it), i have now replaced the battery and all is good. Thanks.

    Just a little tip - WD40 the lock to clean the crap out of it. I had a hard time emergency unlocking my car too, then figured it would be a good idea to clean the locks. Shortly afterwards emergency unlocking it became a breeze. I found my juice leak too - the f***ing boot switch for the boot interior lights is stuffed.
