    Default poor mans shadowline

    hi all

gonna source some shadowline tape, as soon as i can find a place local in the uk to get some

in the meantime thought i'd do a trial run with insulation tape - please don't laugh, i'm gonna leave it on and see how long it lasts!?

    regards

Thats exactly what I've done on mine -looks tons better matey, even if it is onnly tape
Only trouble i've found is the tape shrinks slightly, with the heat of the sun etc..

Looks good, but won't it be a sticky mess to remove?

From my experience - not really... any stickiness can be easily remoevd with a baby-wipe or when you wash the car..

If you use GOOD quality tape (eg 3M), then it will last until something nicks it. On the other hand, if you use crappy tape like from a discount (dollar?) store, it will most likely leave a gooey mess after baking in the sun for a while.
