Nice skirts... nice pinstripe!
I've been reading the posts for the last year and finally decided to show my Bimmer.
This is a 1995 Calypsorot-Metallic 525ia.
I have installed Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, and an EAT chip (the EAT chip makes a noticeable difference in drivability.)
I have replaced the catalytic converter and the A/C system.
Upgraded to Brembo cross drilled rotors with Hawk performance pads.
I'm looking to get a nice set of 17" rims.
The only problem I have is the wiring in the drivers side door which is causing a parasitic battery drain.
It seems that the wiring overheated and some of it shorted out.
This causes the power door locks (or the keylock heating element) to drain the battery. Currently I've removed the power door lock fuse to keep the battery from going flat.
I believe that I need to get the drivers door cable harness, I assume it's not to difficult a repair.
Here are some photos:

WOW.... that is a gorgeous car. From your pics, the paint looks absolutely stunning. And for once, I must say the OEM wheels actually compliment the color nicely How many miles?

Probably the only thing that wrecks it is the Jersey plates!

One of the reasons I got it was due to the great paint job. I assumed that the previous owner(s) kept it garaged. The paint and interior are immaculate and all the electronics work. It's main problem was all mechanical and wiring. Almost done sorting everything out, althought I've spent twice the purchase price doing that!
