Hey boys and girls, it's been awhile.
So I just slapped some Koni adj rear shocks on the 3er. Nice-nice.
Upgraded to M3 convertible shock mounts w/ z3 reinforcement plates while we were in there. Tightened it up and got rid of lots of rattles.
As a side note, you do not have to pull the rear speakers, there’s enough clearance for the job. This may only apply to the sedan tho, the coupe may be bit tighter, dunno.

It all went very smoothly except I do have a concern. While I was torquing the thru bolt holding the bottom of the shock to the hub, the end-plate on the shock started rotating, like 45-90 degrees. The one with the horizontal ‘ears’ that is part of the inner sleeve. Seems to me as if that’s twisting the bushing on the shock. Is this supposed to happen?
