Heh, he called it a '96 at the bottom of the description.

Buy it and part it out, I'll take the stress bar.

5 days left on the auction. I bet it is no deal at the end of 5 days.

That is a Racing Dynamics strut brace. Sort of wierd that it is on that car, huh?

Part my car out and keep that, lol.

I know what they do, but do upper strut braces give you that much more rigidity?

I like the braces that go from the strut to the center of the bulkhead.

I happen to be in Dallas for the week on business, so if anybody wants me to go take a look at this car let me know.

Wow ! I can't believe these cars as so expensive for you guys over there. An '89 E34 would probably make about 300 quid (UK Pounds) over here if its any good. Unbelievable ! All E34 enthusiasts should move to the UK - lol.

Glasses guide (motor trades bible for guide prices) Had my old car at £400 but that was an 90 model as it didn't go back as far as ,89! Hence why I scraped it and got me a 525 SEiA. Took what i needed out of her and with a tear waved good bye. Problem in UK is that fuel is expensive nearly £1.00 per litre here ($2.00 nearly a litre) and the car is too old to appeal to young drivers (hot hatches and Subaru Impreza's are the thing here) and old drivers can afford newer BMW's........ More for us then , ay?!

Default Car Price + Fuel Price makes prices 'equal' across pond.

Yeah fuel price is a killer, I guess if you were to add US buying price to the fuel price over a year, its probably cheaper than UK - damn !

I'll have to change my sig now, as I just sold my 530i 1994 with 124000 miles on for £1200. Admittedly very cheap but I wonder what it would have been worth in the USA - 5000 bucks maybe ? Hmmmm.

Oh crap, you're not filling me with confidence about the resale value of mine... 165k miles on a 1993 540i?

Guess I just have to keep it and turn it into a slightly unsuitable trackday weapon.
