I see the same temperature on my buddy's 325i. Must be the default temp or resistance.
Does this always mean that the sensor is bad? It has been this way since the time I purchased the car a little more than a year ago. What's the usual cause of this? (planning to take some time tomorrow morning and check it out)

I've been told before that this means that the sensor is totally dead. But I can't see myself paying $40+ for a new sensor. Wondered if it'd be possible to get it to work somehow... (I'd need to locate it as well)
