Dinan Chip: Part Number?

There is a Dinan Chip on EBay (Part Number D900-2532) supposedly pulled from a 90 525i. I checked out the Dinan site and can't find any part numbers. Should I have any apprehension about this product? Buy it now for $79.99. That seems about the average price.

I found that but overlooked the Prices. Might as well pay a little more and get the real thing.

do you think he's lying? i was watching the same chip. heres a pic, maybe you could compare to your Gayle? does this chip require you to use premium fuel like others?

That's a valid part number, but looks like a fake or clone for a few reasons:

- Label is on backwards (on a real Dinan chip, the label will read left to right when the notch on the end of the chip is on your LEFT.

- real chip has different markings on the label, including two horizontal bars

- that ship has obviosly never been installed in a car, the legs are not even spread out and are in perfect condition.

Buy one of my chips and you get something that many people consider to be better than Dinan.
