Default When doing M50 oil pan...

Is it best to lift the motor up or drop subframe? Do I just undo the front engine mounts and lift up or do I need to screw with the trans mounts to et the right angle? About how far does the motor need to come up?

depends on how high you can get the motor, i do a **** load more m30s where you do need to drop the pump, i can't remember if you can get away without it on the m50, it's not a big deal if you do though
