I owned a 95 SE-R as a winter beater last year. Quick, fun car to drive as long as its got a 5spd. The SR20 motor is great. Very torquey for a little 4 banger, never need to even downshift really. Turbo'd versions make gobs of power.

i don't know about se-r myself because i'm in the uk, but the sr20det thats in my pulsar has only done 40.000 miles and its still really fresh. but with an engine thats done 200.000 km thats something a bit different , because my experiance with high milage nissan engines has been dodgy oil pumps and the cams start to wear quite badly, something is only going to last as long as you look after it properly ie oil change every 5000 miles or 6 months , use synthetic oil aswell. the motor thats in my car came from the factory in a high state of tune anyway so i treat it like gold because the parts are so expensive
