Default How much rubber can I fit onto a set of staggered OEM M-Parallels?

    I'm looking at these tires:

    Front:
    235/40WR18

    Rear:
    265/35WR18

Are these the right sizes or am I asking for trouble?
The wheels are from an E38
    18x8 in front
    18x9.5 in rear

    Cheers,
    Evan

I and many ran the 255/40/17, and I believe some are using the 265... so u should be good.

I am running 265/35 in the back, rubbed on the fender with people in the back seat or over bumps. Rolled the fender and was able to track the car with no problems.

    Edit: Running OEM e38 Parallels

Is your ride lowered? I haven't lowered mine yet... I ordered the tires from Tire Rack for $550. shipped... I was expecting to pay $800 or more for decent tires. Now I need to spend the $250 I saved on something... I think it's chip time.

You're due for an EAT chip. Easiest and best mod for a 540.

"Best" mod? I would think a turbo would be a better mod...
