Looking at Real OEM, it appears that the auto e34's had a 3.91:1 ratio.

Not to derail... but does this mean my Diff is 25% non LSD, 3.23:1 ratio? And what type of diff would I upgrade to to get slightly better off the line, but not sacrifice gas milage too much...
There early autos had a 3.91 and the later autos had a 4.27 if I recall correctly. 90 is close to the cutoff point; you'd likely need the VIN number to determine production date to see which one you have.
LSD was an option in both cases. I don't recall if the VIN will tell you if you have an LSD or not. There's a tag on the unit itself; if there's an S on the tag it's a limited slip.
