Has anybody got a ideas as to what it could be ?
thx
Hello
Ive had this problem for a couple of months now when i park facing up an incline for a while my car doesnt want to start, it will want try at first then have to winding the starter over for about 20 secs.
Car starts and splutters until i apply revs after that runs fine
When i park facing down a incline car starts as normal.
So replaced fuel filter and this stopped for a couple of days but problem came back.
Is there a non return valve somewhere.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I think Diesel car owners are not the biggest crossection of this forum, but I'm guessing this:
if you park nose up on an incline, how much of an incline is it?
Your Diesel pump could be located at the front of the diesel tank.
In that case a steep incline and a half empty tank could be enough to make the pump suck air instead of Diesel.
It's a VERY wild theory though.

or the pump is getting too little voltage and cant pump up hill??????
another wild theory
