might want to go for a preemtive strike with new radiator hoses, including the upper expansion tank one, new thermostat.
might be time to get the "lifetime" transmission fluid changed.
grab a DME and a fuel pump relay. (maybe an EAT chip too)
interior cabin microfilter, power steering fluid and filter (if self leveling suspension, i have one if you need)
clean the idle control valve, get new o-rings for the air tube assembley before the throttle body
new brake fluid, also check the condition of the pads and rotors, front and rear.
depending on how much your car shakes when you start it up, you may want to get new motor mounts?
ever change the O2 sensors?
for liquid tuneup, add a bottle of chevron proguard to the next 3 fillups, gets rid of crap in the fuel system and on the valves.
also, this may be the MOST IMPORTANT THING...... grab a new lower oil pan gasket (11131436324), a bottle of Loctite red threadlocker, and the following parts:
11411745258 x 1
11417508400 x 1
11411742462 x 2
11421713597 x 1
11421741129 x 1
11421288890 x 1
12611277129 x 1
what these are, are parts replaced during service of the oil pump.
the M60 oil pump is known to come loose, even drop right off the engine block.
do a search on the forum, there are lots of recounts of the horrors in the lower pan......
when i did mine, i spent a full day cleaning the lower pan and pump after i got em off, they were coated in sludge, a lot of it. the engine block and piston/rods were spectacularly clean though, looked right off the assembley line! i'm running auto-rx now to clean the rest of the junk off the upper pan.
