The blower is burried under the hood at the base of the firewall, if you are poor you can remove it and try a spot of oil. If you are not poor, just replace it.
everytime i turn on my car aircon... i can hear this irritating squeaking sound...
its like my bearings on the blower are about to fail... do i have to change it or do i simply have to oil it? how hard is it to reach? can it be accessed via the dash vent (if i simply oil it?)
thanks!

is it easy to remove it? or it takes forever to do so?
Its a big job if you are not used to working on cars. This would be a good time to invest in a Bentleys, the job is really to big to describe here, though someone probably has it posted arround if you do a search.Originally Posted by pong
Remove the expansion tank(if you have a firewall mounted expansion tank) and unscrew stuff until you get to the fan.
