    Default custom floor mats

May I please have the recommendations of this distinguished board as to a source for high quality custom mats?
I'm looking for the kind like the OE that utlize the hold downs and fit exactly. Preferrably plain without some company,s name on it.
I used to buy them from Bav. Auto but they are just too expensive.

I bought some Bav auto mats, I would not recommend them. Flimsy and poor color matching.

Look on ebay for OE mats.

$140. BavAuto's ultimate floor mats, buy them. They come with front and rear mats. Best floor mats available, and they come with a lifetime warranty.

For rubber only... get the black "all-weather floor mats". I've had them for half a year now, they are custom fit and look/work fantastic. I have had a 64 oz. taco bell soda spill into the back seat. When I turned around, all 64 oz. was neatly packed into the rubber squares of my mats. Hose off to clean and you're done. I do not have any experience with the hold-downs, since they are not necessary... custom-fit holds them where they should be. If you want to spend more $$, check circle bmw or other site for OE rubber mats that have hold downs.

I checked Circle BMW and they have listed part#'s:

    51479400882 - Front Rubber mats
    51479400883 - Rear Rubber mats

    but there is no picture.

Are these the ones you have?

    Thanks

Anyone know if there is a place that will do stitching on some high quality mats? I would like to get some new mats with the ///M5 logo on them for my e34.

No, I don't have the OE mats. Like I said, I have the all-weather mats from BavAuto (bavauto.com) which are only like $59 and work great.

I have those...but I ordered them from my local BMW stealer (they're found on the Euro side of the ETK or parts database)...I love them...they are 100% rubber, very pliable, very easy to clean...will hold a large amount of melted snow...or spilt drinks...AND come with the OE mat locks that hold them perfectly in place! They ordered them directly from Germany and took about a week and a half to arrive. Circle may have them in stock....but probably not for the e34 and would probably have to order them. I'd print out the info from Circle's web site...then inquire at my local stealer if they match or beat their price...mine did.

Here's some pics of what the e34 rubber floor mats look like in my 95 525iT:

Here's a close up of the mat locks that come with them that lock down thru the existing holes in the carpet:
