    Default What are these wheels?

What are these? They look like a cross between t stars and M contours. I've got a 1996 wheel catalogue but can't find them. Any ideas?

If i buy them I'll pop in and say 'Hi' when I pick them up. Do you think they're genuine?

its a bit unusual that they don't have centre caps and they are 16"
    mine are 17"
    225 50?
by my calcs the rolling diameter about 518.9
    whereas mine are 537.55
so that raises some big questions as i believe the M5 T-stars were 235R17/45's like mine

Yeah definately not t stars. The centres come out too far from the hub to be t stars. They look like a modified version of m contours. I just wonder whether they are genuine or not. I've sent the guy an email asking him. I'm just about to get onto realoem and see if I can see them.
    Cheers

Believe turbine style 9 wheels from a 850. Per realoem they are directional wheels and rather expensive at least $600 or so each. Think they used 235/50/16 tires.

    They're fake 'T' Stars.
They are a cast single piece wheel without the removable cover.
Genuine factory forged 'T' Stars ('M' System 2's) are mirrored pairs.
    These aren't.

Not sure you are correct. The turbine style 9 wheel is a one piece and had a hub cap that covers the lug nut area. Take a look at an 850i with these wheels and you will see.
Even so, these wheels might be fake T-stars as I cannot tell from the e-bay photo if these wheels accept the hub cap. They also look directional from the photo.
    Thanks,

i would love some of these wheels, they are not directional from what i can see - suck. But the thing is, where do you get fakes from and more importantly, if you crash are you covered!!???
