Default best value rotors and pads

I need to replace my front brakes. What is the most economical ones to buy and where. My car is an old 90' m20 and I might be selling so I don't want to spend too much on it. Trying to pick up a 535i. I don't need a big brake kit or cross drilled. I saw a few different rotors on BMA.

rotors? zimmerman, balo, ate, BMW, brembo, brembo cross-drilled.
BMA is selling the brembos for $65/set. I leaning toward these.

    pads? pagid, mintex, ate,

my ideal budget would be like $150 for all the parts. Thanks.

Default I'd go with Mintex (or PBR Deluxe) pads & Balo rotors

You might also want to check out the prices at bimmerparts.com. I use them frequently because they've got great prices, and I usually get the parts next-day with UPS Ground shipping.

Yup. Drew's right if you want to do it on the cheap. I've fully abused Balo rotors with no problems. The Mintex or PBR pads are fine for steet use at a budget price.

Default I'd also go with the balo rotors but I'd spend the extra 10 bucks and get the

raybestos qs series ceramic pads for 60 from www.partsamerica.com or any local checkers, kragen, advance auto etc... That would give you pads, sensors, rotors, screws and still come in under 150

    Default thanks

ok I think i'm gonna go w/ Balo rotors and pbr deluxe. What else do I need to purchase. This will be my first and hopefully only attempt at replacing my brakes. Do i need to get brake disc set screw and brake sensor and how many of each. 1 sensor for each wheel? 1 seet of screws for each wheel? Thanks.
