Radio wiring question

I bought a new radio, and I have the BMW harness and the antenna adapter. I am confused by Bruno's site that if you buy another harness its plug and play. It seems to me you have to solder the wires regardless? I plan on soldering the wires from the BMW harness and the radio. I plan on doing this tomorrow ..... just want to make sure I am not missing something obvious from Bruno's site. thanks!

I did this a while back, I seem to remember you just match the colors then it's plug and play. Except, the hite wire connects to the amp.
