Default Holy crap turbo is bigger than I expected..

I receive my actual unit on Monday, but my buddy sent me this pic of his Holset H1E (same model I ordered) on an M20 (2.7Li). I am really anticipating this thing now... but holy crap this is like 3x larger than I had imagined it'd be...

but that's never a bad thing!!!!

told ya it was gonna be big, the same hair drier will make a 5.9 diesel push around 330 hp and 750 foot pounds of torque, that would be a stock 215hp/440lb motor with a 10# cam plate, air filter and a 4" exhaust, it would need a about a $600 to hold that and be be good till around 450/950 with a bigger turbo/injectors
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it

Yeah on the gasoline M20 they're making 420 - 450whp no problem on "low" boost of 18 psi. This is going to be absolutely ridiculous!

I like that one - looks like a 4" intake with anti surge on the big guy.

Darn! What is the turbo lag gonna be like? This reminds me of Porsche 930 turbo... in early 80's...

On an M20 they lag making full boost at 4000 or so

on an M50 with 24v it should be a little lower, im happy with 3500 - 3800
